Our ante-natal clinic runs weekly on a Wednesday afternoon between 13:00 – 15:30 by appointment only and is ran by our North Tyneside Community Midwife, Megan McLoughlin.

Once your pregnancy has been confirmed by one of our GPs or Advanced Nurse practitioner, you will be referred to the appropriate midwife who will then contact you to make the 1st booking appointment.

You will be seen regularly throughout your pregnancy by the Midwife and/or Doctor and at hospital (please always bring a urine sample in a clean bottle to your antenatal appointment).

Your immediate postnatal care will be provided by the Midwife team, with your postnatal check being provided by one of our GPs at the practice around 6 to 8 weeks after the birth. Our admin team will send an appointment for this check once we receive the post natal discharge from the hospital.

You will be provided with contact telephone numbers to enable you to contact a Midwife at any time if you have concerns or problems.
